Traveling away from planet Earth, on an interstellar transport, I was in the company of 3 or 4 beings that looked like us but had more of a light body present than we do. I asked them why we were leaving earth and where we were headed. One of them, the leader I imagine, told me we were headed to the next step of evolution, on another planet, outside our system. We were leaving earth and its life forms behind. The previous step of evolution was over and a new level was appearing out of CONSCIOUSNESS.

When I asked how we could help the earth and all the humans the leader informed me that their time was over and their demise would not be a painful thing, but a natural jump to the new experience. Not only would all those life forms be gone, but the earth itself would be done.

The leader tells me that it was all an illusion, the earth and the life upon it. That I could manifest a new, more enlightened world, and it would happen if I finally made the choice to surrender my mind to the true nature of my heart, the magical intuitive of awakening to the aliveness beyond all else. Allowing my heart to become The Warrior Heart. This was always the plan. Not just for a few, but for a great many. This warrior heart would have no fear of its mind and its ego plans. Now, doubt would not obscure the true nature of our birthing into Light, as Divine Explorers. My frustration and confusion would dissipate as soon as that ultimate surrender took place.

 It’s inching its way there…

There are those of us who are frustrated, angry, out of step, and ready to throw up our hands in the resolve that the world is just too dense to bust through the ignorance veil. It’s not that we are so smart, but there is definitely a feeling deep inside that gnaws at us. Every new discovery that the reptilian mind is controlling the outcome of life right now buries the stake deeper into our hearts. Now, more than ever is a time to stay the course. When the dust clears, and it will, we’ll breathe clear again and go on our merry way.

V’s words make me stop and reflect. “I like the idea of a ‘solar heart’. That is the name for the merged chakras, I take it.”

“Yes. This alchemical process is the underlying energetic movement from ‘life’ into ‘Life’.

“And just what’s the difference between the little ‘life’ and the capital-L ‘Life’?”

V replies with a question, “This is another opportunity to use your intuitive awareness. What do you think?”

I ponder. “The first thing is right out of my own question. Life with a large ‘L’ seems to put an emphasis on the largeness of living; little ‘l’ means lower vitality. Is that correct?”

“You’re close. Ordinary life—the experience of the vast majority of humans throughout history—is missing a key ingredient. Without that ingredient, experience is flat and empty. Experience moves forward, but at a very slow pace.”

“What’s the ‘missing ingredient’?”

“Obviously, it is consciousness. Your species has always possessed awareness and varying degrees of alertness. But until you match that with the deeper presence—synonymous with consciousness—your view will be flat and two-dimensional. Life, in the larger expression, brings with it the matching power and depth. It brings the opportunity for you to become ‘aware of being conscious’.”

“All right,” I register. “How does Life bring this power to us? What do we need to do to take advantage of the opportunity?”

“You need only listen to your own breathing, and your own heartbeat. The connection between heart and breath is a magical, alchemical one. Listen to the Life within you. Feel the inner vibration and sensation of Life. It has never not been there. However, when you face away from it, resist or deny it, you refuse the key ingredient that elevates your sensibility. You remain in the lower levels of awareness. Humans have been prisoners in the basement of wakefulness for millennia.

“Once you take notice of the hum of cosmic presence in you—in your genes and cells—you are turning toward the Source. Let me give you a short exercise to help with your sensitivity to Life.”

“Please do,” I urge. (more…)

Immediately I ask, “So, what about Life? How do we live it?”

“As you know, this is the whole purpose of our writing together—to be more alert to experiencing the vital center of our being. A one-word answer to ‘How do we live it?’ is ‘synchronicity’. Carl Jung coined the term. He described it as ‘meaningful coincidence’. Coincidence is a resonance among two or more points of awareness. As we have said elsewhere, the attributing of meaning to events and forms in our lives is the province of the soul; it manifests as awareness and destiny in each of us. We determine all the meaning we experience. Without our attention, there is no meaning.”

“So, how does that relate to Life?”

“I’m glad you asked,” she chuckles. “Synchronicity is the glue that binds us to both meaning and living energy—in other terms, you can say ‘soul’ and ‘Source’. Synchronicity is our personal revelation of divinity on a moment-to-moment basis.”

“But there is no ‘moment-to-moment’,” I challenge. “There’s only the one moment.”

“Thank you for reminding me. I had forgotten.” She smiles and winks. “But your experience tells you to pay attention to the passage of time in a personal way. We must respect that—even if it is inaccurate technically. Your ordinary day-to-day lives are, for your current epoch, bound up in time. Time and timelessness, juxtaposed, generate the need for a concept such as ‘synchronicity’; all events are simultaneous a priori. Without time there is no need to contemplate ‘synchronous’ behavior. Synchronicity provides the meaning to transcend the time-and-form bondage. It reveals, to those who observe and honor it, the invisible underpinnings of life and events. Synchronicity reveals Life. And Life reveals Source. (more…)
