In my waking breath, I start and start again this day’s long pace.

I have a choice to walk it right or throw the day to waste?

Can stay captive to the mind-noise that yesterday I fought,

or carry forth the truth set in unencumbered thought.

I can busy [me,] my self, in the ego-sea of [me,]

or journey to a world of those around who’ve been set free.

Can nod to no importance, ignore beauty through my eyes,

or linger in the peacefulness, seeing splendor beyond the skies.

If my heart is beyond shallow I won’t hear the crying sound,

I’m destined to the sadness of a horrid day gone down,

and patterns that have made Me [me,]

repeating, reseeding, a lost strategy.

This thing we’re all built on, truth and love and willing,

it’s time to set a new stride and keep the dark from killing.

It’s time to offer Gratitude and Loving arms embrace,

it’s time to see our lives are just a wasteland ‘cept for Grace.

[This montage image was produced with a series of photos taken with an iPhone while imagining nothing and beginning with no idea for the outcome. It was spontaneous combustion, through the sheer joy of experimentation and exploration. A photographic doodle of sorts.]

The world of form is enlivened by our senses, without which we would have no response to life. Those senses spark emotions inside us that play with the mind and move us to communicate responses. We are the experience of our perceptions.

With all the shuttering-in we’re a part of now I thought it would be nice to post back our “Journey to 500.” A guided meditation through time, it can be a salve and a calming for our jittered state. So put on the headphones, find a gazing point and get ready for your flight into the future of your mind, your body and your soul.

There is that moment showered in grief and sorrow when the center of your body seems to lose all feeling. Even that pit in your stomach is gone. The emptiness that prevails is both alarming and curious, for within that moment there appears a vibration that creates such a harmonic blend of light that you feel a tremendous sense of aliveness. If you are at all in tune with that vibration you are blessed with a feeling of love that transcends the mind-body experience. For all-at-once, you vibrate into that space where all things and no-things preside. You can feel it so deep in your molecular structure that taking flight is no longer a myth. You are there in that place between all worlds where the Divine touches the physical plane. It is wondrous.

Life is changing as we know it. Even if the ignorance, that lords over this planet, remains somewhat intact, the many who rise above the loneliness of separation from the one will be born into a new life of Gratitude and Grace. If nothing else, we will enjoy a life of empathy and compassion for our fellow humans.

We are now in a state of total flux. Not knowing what or who to believe, we hear an echo of our inner voice, crying to be heard over the clatter of ignorance. The main champion of this flux is FEAR, our dear friend, wrapped in a blanket of emotional instability. Either it’s DESIRE, driven by fear and loathing, or GREED attached to apathetic money-mongers, whose coffers are filled with the killed dreams of pathetic believers.

Wake Up, People! Stop complaining about tomorrow and listen to the truths of today. You have traded sincerity and well-being for false promises. Promises which will turn the face of well-being into a scream of despair. Stop! Look! Listen! Do not step off that curb while the traffic is jetting by. There is time to action ahead, but first pay attention to that inner voice, telling you loud and clear, You’re Being Taken For A Ride.

When the dust settles in your mind, and you have a chance to see the clarity of righteousness, you will again make decisions that nourish the heart. At that special time, the bliss of gratitude will rain down Grace, and we will be free of the tyranny that plagues us now.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

“You only have power over people as long as you don’t take everything away from them. But when you’ve robbed a man of everything, he’s no longer in your power—he’s free again.”
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

Abraham Lincoln

“As a nation, we began by declaring that ‘all men are created equal.’ We now practically read it ‘all men are created equal, except negroes.’ When the Know-Nothings get control, it will read ‘all men are created equal, except negroes, and foreigners, and Catholics.’ When it comes to this I should prefer emigrating to some country where they make no pretense of loving liberty – to Russia, for instance, where despotism can be taken pure, and without the base alloy of hypocrisy.”
Abraham Lincoln, Lincoln Letters

This past year has seen many heartrending events on this mighty blue marble. As a small pinhole of existence in this vast universe our actions seem to have little effect on the big picture. But yet, a drop in the sea creates a different pattern and that pattern alters the entire scene. We now must enter a space of stillness and contemplate our future. Embracing our egoic self and loving its transformation into unconditional selflessness is our Soul’s greatest desire. Here lies the challenge of 2015. I know we can meet it with grace.
